Senior Manager Strategy

Reporting to the Head of Group Strategy, you will be responsible for the definition and maintenance of all Group-wide business strategies.

Your mission is to drive the Bank towards achieving its stated ambition to become the most experience-focused bank in the region.

Accountabilities

• Works with CxO level executives across the organization to shape their business strategies.
• Support the CxO team in delivering their business strategies.
• Support the Chief Strategy & Digital Officer in ad-hoc assignments.
• Build and test solid hypotheses across the entire universal banking sector i.e. Consumer, Wholesale and Investment banking.
• You will have ownership. Turn data into meaningful insights and transformative solutions.
• You will work in close collaboration with the wider team to develop pricing and go-to-market strategies.

• Being a ‘banker’ will be an advantage, but is by no means critical. We need someone that has a genuine aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.
• Exceptional leadership skills, gravitas, high energy and motivational drive will be words that others will have used to describe you.
• Leading by example will come natural to you. Your experience in empowering a team to execute under pressure and tight deadlines is evident.
• We do things based upon solid fact bases and remove our personal opinions as much as possible. You will have a data-driven mentality and a sound business judgement through strong analytical thinking. You will be able to prioritise competing demands efficiently.
• Strong planning and organizational skills are merely a hygiene factor for you – it’s just what you do, all with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Present recommendations with confidence to senior audiences via exceptional standards of presentation design and delivery.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Whilst speaking Arabic will take you places here, fluency in English is a must.
