وصف الوظيفة
- Excellent IFRS/ IAS (International Financial Reporting Standards/ International Accounting Standards) knowledge with practical application experience.
- Ability to work independently in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) environments (preferably Oracle)
- Monitoring and development of accounting cycles/ rules across all products/ events in a banking & Financial Services environment.
- Ability to understand Treasury Products and related accounting treatment & presentation in financial Statements.
- Business partnership with Business Groups and Head Office functions across the Banking group for product/ business for financial controls, accounting and reporting
- Support Payments and other processing teams with IFRS/ IAS compliant accounting and reporting treatment
- Accounting advisory role and sound working relationship with Finance Information Systems team and other project teams and consultants ERP/ core banking implementation project
- Coordinate with Bank tax department for all accounting related matters and support Tax Engine development project
- Take the lead role from Financial Controls and accounting for P2P (Procure to pay) and AP (Accounts payable) systems implementations.
- Support initiatives within Finance Group on policy, process and efficiency improvements.
المهارات
- CPA/ CA Professional Qualification with 8-12 years relevant of experience
- Relevant banking and/ or managerial experience in an Accounting Firm
- Commercial insight and understanding that would support understanding business needs by various stakeholders (Finance Teams/ Business Teams/ Head Office teams)
- Effective and strong communications – ability to discuss matters with business teams and influence with IFRS/ Financial control point of view
