Job Description

This level works on the relationship management of strategically important and possibly more complex CMBD clients in providing specialist financial advice and support to ensure that their individual needs are met and brings desired profitability to the bank from these relationships.

To manage the relationships of large and important portfolio of clients and to ensure development of corporate banking business and cross selling of other business lines products and services. He should identify his own target marketing list of prospect customers and regularly market new customers to have at least one active / profitable new large size corporate relationship added every year.

Accountabilities:

  • Manages existing pre-defined set of CMBD relationships.
  • New business development with existing or new customers including regular marketing calls to identify business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely submission and implementation of credit proposals.
  • Active marketing and cross selling of various products of the bank offered by CMBD and other business lines.
  • Regular monitoring of the customer relationship / and utilization of credit facilities and perform timely credit reviews.
  • Mentor and coach Relationship Officers and Credit Analysts to ensure that they have all skills required in order to fulfil their responsibilities.
  • Assist Relationship Officers manage their customer relationships and provide necessary guidance from time to time. 
  • Enhance the return on the Risk Adjusted Assets through obtaining more collateral/cash margins, better pricing on bank assets, fee collection, cross sell of different bank products and growth in bank liabilities (Deposits such as CBDs & NCBDs).

Skills

  • University graduate preferably in finance or a business/commercial discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years Commercial and or Corporate relationship management experience.
  • Sound credit/financial/market analysis skills.
  • Excellent understanding of economic conditions within the Kingdom and globally.
  • Detailed knowledge of credit approval technique, processes and procedures.
  • Detailed understanding of all relevant SAMA regulations.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant BSF products/services.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant BSF procedures and policy.
  • In-depth awareness of competitor products/services.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and good analytical skills.
  • Excellent report-writing skills.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English.
