Job Description

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Digital Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of a sprints and / or agile project. You are a talented and experienced individual who drives on priorities and design decisions, and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle.

Your mission is to drive the Bank towards achieving its stated ambition to become the most experience focused bank in the region. We’re not happy with just being up there – we want to be world class and recognized for it. To achieve this, you will need to:

  • Develop and maintain the prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation and work in collaboration with the delivery and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development lifecycles.
  • Translate the business requirements and direct our primary research into user stories for the development teams to implement.
  • Develop and maintain a vision for the product and be responsible for communicating that vision to the team, internal and external stakeholders.

 Accountabilities

  • Lead the product, research, design and technical functions to deliver against the agreed plan.
  • You will have ownership. You will work across teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release / sprint.
  • You will work in close collaboration with the wider team to ensure that all requirements i.e. regulatory, risk, information security, etc. are taken care of. You will work with both the engineering and business sides. You are ultimately responsible for the final delivery.

Skills

  • You will be an experienced project manager that has delivered in a fast-paced environment using an agile methodology.
  • Being a ‘banker’ will be an advantage, but is by no means critical. We need someone that has a genuine and authentic passion for delivery.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, gravitas, high energy and motivational drive will be words that others will have used to describe you.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills are merely a hygiene factor for you – it’s just what you do, all with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Whilst speaking Arabic will take you places here, fluency in English is a must.
  • Highly customer-centric with a passion to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
  • High levels of personal and professional integrity
  • An entrepreneurial approach with an ability to operate both at a strategic level and to be hands on
  • A positive, self-sufficient leader with excellent communication skills, intellect and energy
