Job Description

Level Details:

Jobs at this level are responsible for preparing, maintaining and introducing PMO policies, processes, and procedures, create documentations, plans for the PMO. Undertake day to day PMO proceedings; facilitate smooth communication between PMO and other internal and external entities. Coordinate IT Project related engagements including but not limited to project milestone document templates, review of the filled up templates and project related documentation, RFP, proposal evaluation/analyses, etc.

Job Purpose:

- Identify and adopt PMO tools.

- Assist the PMO in implementing and improving the Project Management Methodology.

- Perform review, verification, validation and update of PMO documentation, processes and practices.

Accountabilities:

1. Standardize the existing software development life cycle processes. (Definition of the processes, defining templates, etc).

2. Document, review, design/define, and communicate to all stakeholders the applicable policy, plan, and procedure/work instructions that drive each Project Management process.

3. Develop and enhance PMO processes and procedures and maintain the same with updates.

4. Implement the approved Project Management Methodology and ensure adherence to it.

5. Ensure adaptability to PMO mandates, initiatives, processes and procedures in all IT areas.

6. Take up independent verification, validation and scrutiny of project milestone documents.

7. Take initiatives in proposing new ideas and solutions.

8. Prepare periodical reports including status reports of selected projects, budget monitoring and tracking.

Knowledge & Experience:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

 5+ years’ experience in IT area with exposure to PMO affairs.

 Knowledgeable of project management methodologies processes and tools.

 Thorough knowledge of project milestone monitoring, documentation and processes.

 Professionally certified in Project Management related certification is desirable.
