Job Description
- Analyze and review progress and key achievements with respect to technical
- architecture in the bank
- Identify risks and issues, probability and impact to overall BSF target architectural
- Identify mitigation strategies and corrective actions
- Track dependencies that will impact CBS and global architecture and their expected
- timelines
- Develop technical architecture guidelines and policies and support major architectural
- decisions
- Ensure global architecture consistency and enforcement of architectural standards
- Discuss and recommend key innovations and opportunities identified
- Review progress against target architecture blueprint and support in approving
- deviations from architecture guidelines & blueprint
- Support in validating key technical design decisions and changes with multiple
- stakeholders and vendors
Skills
- Computer science, Computer engineering, Technology or comparable degree
- 7+ years of IT architecture, DevOps and SysOps experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
- Deep understanding of strategic IT solutions and trends
- Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Knowledge of select coding languages, monitoring systems and automation software
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python) and Infrastructure
- Exceptional written and spoken skills in English
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Presentation skills – Senior level
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and capabilities
- Deal with complex and difficult problems
- Ability to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to navigate organizational structures and build networks
- knowledge and familiarity with various operating system, middle-ware, databases
- Industry certification in Virtualization and cloud
