Manager Audit

Positions at this level require managing audit areas and are fully responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring audit missions in several business areas. Assist in developing the annual Audit Plan and operational programmes and to manage the conduct of audit missions.

• Prepare yearly audit plan in his jurisdiction (area of responsibility).
• Ensure that approved Audit plans are timely and effectively performed.
• Plan audit assignments.
• Coordinate audit activities within his area of responsibility.
• Obtain, analyse and appraise data to determine effectiveness of audit missions.
• Review audit reports, and discuss with operating management during the audit or closing meeting.
• Finalize appraisals after each mission.
• Identify training needs of auditors under his jurisdiction.
• Finalize the Audit report.
• Formulate recommendations with authority to follow up on their implementation.
• Work within defined audit procedures.
• Supervise the work of Team Leaders / Senior Auditors and Auditors in jurisdiction.
• Has freedom to develop and/or approve work programmes within the overall context of the annual Audit Plan in his jurisdiction.
• Finalize and formulate recommendations on special investigations or analysis and has authority to follow up on their implementation.
• Identify & organize AD training needs and accordingly coordinating with CHR/Training department.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Good knowledge and understanding of operational, credit, market and reputation risks.
• Good analytical and report reviewing skills.
