Job Description

Point of technical reference in the area of Policy and Procedures. Monitor the business changes and to anticipate and meet business support requirements for advice, guidance and service.  

Responsible for reviewing and developing fully integrated policies and procedures Retail Banking units in Head office and Branches for audit, regulatory and compliance purposes. Mainly Responsible for the provision of specialist services relating to business support activities. Include, services orientated to product, process or information support:

Policies and Procedures P&P’s, T&C and Forms Developing

  • Ensure Meeting Service Standards: Identify, review and recommend documents (P&P’s, T&C’s and Forms) that are relevant and appropriate to the business needs. Ensure all documents are in compliant with SAMA and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage all unit Projects related to (P&P’s, T&C’s and Forms): writing, obtaining approvals and publishing the full range of policies and procedures.
  • Represent RBG in various internal and external project teams implementing new business and technical process flows. Ensure that the required documents are in place for all projects in order to deliver results as per the business case.
  • Ensure maintaining Compliance and control: Develop, gain approval for and monitor compliance and control measures to meet the needs of customers and the business unit.
  • Ensure the proper Coordination and receiving the input from all stakeholders of the documents (P&P’s, T&C’s and Forms) as per subject; This may include but not limited to: Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal Regional, OPS team and HO OSCD … etc.
  • Review Functional Specifications requirements of new Core Banking System.
  • Act as the main custodian of all documents (P&P’s, T&C’s and Forms) of Retail Banking Group. And ensure change controls are fully documented and new versions are disseminated to the various RBG Unit and related parties.
  1. Review/Action on required update/Enhancement
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing documents and hence initiate enhancements as identified.
  • Manage the new business requirements related the creation of new entities, sectors, including the process of electronic verification of documents. 
  • Meet business Input: Provide business planning input and gain agreement to and support the implementation of improvements relevant to the specialization to enhance business performance.
  • Ensure that all documents (P&P’s, T&C’s and Forms) are complete and adequately preserve/safe keep for future reference.
  1. Operations Support
  • Ensure Providing Service Support: Provide specialist support to the business activities on a continuous basis to meet current and future needs of the business units and assisting in end users training.
  • Provides assistance and support to Governance division in regularizing audit findings.
  • Meet Technical Expertise: Update own/staff technical expertise in the assigned area of specialization to enhance the quality of contribution.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train and guide the P&P unit support team in order deliver services    effectively.

Skills

  • Good experience and extensive exposure in general banking operations and services, customer or marketing related activities, financial and credit management and in accounting systems.
  • Full knowledge of the Bank or other financial institutions policies and procedures related to organization, operations, management guidelines, products and services within RBG
