Digital Design Associate

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Digital Design Lead, you will be responsible supporting the creation of best in class UI and UX across our digital assets. Your mission is to support the Digital Design Lead in delivering world-class products across our digital landscape. To achieve this, you will need to:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Digital Product Associates and Digital Engineers.
• Create original graphic designs e.g. images, sketches and tables before transforming these through wireframe and final product.

Accountabilities

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Build page and app navigation designs.
• Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how apps and sites function and look like
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams, customers and other key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems such as responsiveness
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, images and positioning

• Being a ‘banker’ will be an advantage, but is by no means critical. We need someone that has a genuine and authentic passion for UX and is willing to ‘go-to-bat’ on behalf of our customers.

• Proven experience as a UX/UI designer
• Knowledge of wireframe tools e.g. InVision and other UX tools
• Experienced in using design software such as Sketch or Figma
• Must have illustrative and animation skills
