Compliance Relationship Manager

Job Description

•Enhances the effectiveness of the compliance risk early alert process by conducting regular reviews of compliance issues in the business and functional areas

•Conducts cross-checking of the monitoring activities carried out by the business and function areas, escalates identified the short-coming or weaknesses

•Actively participates Self- Assessments meetings and works closely with the Businesses on new/existing services/products to analyse the risk elements and advise them on any actions needed

•Promptly reports any suspicious activities and issues in due diligence standards to the concerned Relationship manager

•Supports the Compliance Relationship Manager in any ad-hoc projects to promote the compliance culture within the BSF, during inspection visits (internal and external) to the bank or to fulfil any compliance reporting requirement from the senior management

•Participates in the production, documentation and approval of the annual Compliance Testing and Monitoring checklists and standards reports

•Ensures that all testing and monitoring are undertaken effectively and ensures all reports are submitted accurately and on time

•Responsible for keeping detailed records of all compliance testing and review and provide timely and professional responses to all requests

•Works closely with the Businesses on new and existing services and products to analyse the risk elements and advise them on any actions needed

•Liaises with Compliance team members on providing any requested information in a timely manner, under the guidance of Senior Compliance Relationship Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

•Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business

•6-8 years banking experience in related field

•3-5 years within Compliance/Audit areas of the bank

Skills

•Excellent understanding of the Retail, Private, Area and Investment banking products/services

•Excellent analytical and investigative skills

•Seasoned experience of writing policies and departmental documents in compliance with regulations

•Excellent analytical skills to interpret the regulations/banking laws of the Kingdom

•Good understanding of all the compliance fields

•Sound experience of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure

•Excellent computer/Microsoft skills

•Sound experience of leading teams

•Good Project management skills
