Job Description

Job Purpose

This role assists to HR Business Partners in all HR activities to provide Business Leaders with HR Support and also responsible for driving and delivering strategic and operational HR solutions to business challenges /problems and to business performance objectives tailored and aligned to the department / unit context.

Accountabilities

  • Assists in the development of Human Resources / Annual HR, People Plan to support the business performance objectives, processes, systems or procedures in order to improve efficiency and meet the changing requirements of Department/Units.
  • Assists the HR Business Partners in the administration procedures for all new starters to BSF. This will involve, generating offer packs and letters, creating employee files for new starts , arranging induction meetings and etc.
  • Ensures that managers and employees attend relevant training programmes and equipped with the necessary skills and experience to achieve high levels of performance
  • In absence of Business Partner, acts as a source of expertise for the assigned Depts managers in other operational areas to ensure that the Division adheres to HR/Personnel Service best practice
  • Contributes in the following HR activities to ensure that the organisation meets its goals:
  • Support in KPI Objective settings and employees
  • counselling
  • Assist in completing performance reviews
  • Assist in yearly salary reviews
  • Establish Personal Development Plans for employees in general
  • Implement employees retention plan and identify the barriers for retention
  • Acts as an “Employee Counsellor” managing all sorts of conflicts
  • Acts with full delegations and authorities in interacting with his respective clients (BSF Divisions)
  • Contributes towards the creation of a motivational organisational culture/climate which supports the achievement of business objectives
  • Produces management reports which set out implications of actions and recommend ways forward
  • Ensures that the assigned departments Divisions have updated Job Descriptions based on Hay Job Evaluation methodology
  • Ensures and Conducts Hay Job grade Evaluation with the Departments/ Divisions and in coordination with HC experts

Skills

  • Sc in HR or General Management
  • Ideally number of 3-4 years broad HR experience
  • Emotional Intelligence / Resilience
  • Must have the same Technical Knowledge (banking or other) of the audience he is serving
  • Strong Inter personal relationship skills including Client Centric orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task activities and projects
  • Excellent communications skills written, verbal and presentations
