The Network Administrator is responsible to perform BAU tasks, as well as monitoring and maintaining the organizations network infrastructure.
Networking Accountabilities:
- Performing second level supports, maintenance, and deployment of technology.
- Manages IT infrastructure and architecture including HW, SW related to BSF network.
- Maintain up to date network drawings related to network infrastructure.
- managing all BSF network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure and IP address scheme
- Tracking all IP changes
- Periodic review for all network devices configuration (Routers, switches, Firewalls) and do the necessary cleanup and fixes if required.
- Monitor the WAN utilization to proactively fix the utilization issues before it happens.
- perform network hardware addition or deletion on network performance monitoring tool.
- apply patches for all network products if required.
- Proactive monitoring and problem resolving for any related issue in network area.
Network Security Accountabilities:
- Managing Cisco ISE server for user’s permissions and hardware addition.
- Managing the Cisco ASA & FTD, Palo Alto and FortiNet Firewall policies.
- Managing the VPN gateway (Users and Groups).
- Managing proxy server
Skills
- Bachelor degree on Science/Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Network and Network security (Firewalls)
- Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNP).
- Routing, Switching, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
