Job Description
Performs daily routine computer operations and network monitoring duties by following well defined schedules, procedures, documentations and instructions. Logs, escalates and follows up problems.
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc system jobs – report printing; batch processing; backup/restore – as per operational and user requirements and ensure correct and timely availability of business information
Skills
- IT Diploma certificate.
- At least one year’s diploma in mainframe and mid-range computer fundamentals.
- Two to three years hands-on and practical IT work experience of computer operations – preferably in a banking or similar environment.
- Basic technical knowledge and good operational knowledge of the operating systems, especially Mainframe MVS, UNIX, Windows as well as databases – Oracle, Datacom/DB2, etc.
