Senior Officer Strategic Programs Implementation Office

Job Purpose

The role holder works under the direction of the Manager of Strategic Programs Implementation Office for Personal Banking Group and will contribute for delivering on its objectives; which are:

• Manage and successfully implement certain strategic projects and programs as assigned by Head of Personal Banking Group.
• To advise on Personal Banking Group’s on its investments in the best set of projects and programs and realizes the most benefits possible from these investments;
• To provide an organizational focus on improving the management of projects, programs, and portfolios;
• To optimize the capability and capacity of resources; and
• To raise strategic issues to the highest levels of the organization in order to facilitate effective decision making when needed

Accountabilities

• Manage assigned programs and projects
• Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects as assigned
• Assess and recommends on suitable strategies and objectives
• Coordinate cross-project activities and follow up
• Contribute to the development and control of deadlines, resources and activities
• Apply change, risk and resource management
• Coordinate the resolution of project issues and escalate when necessary

• Bachelor in IT or Business Administration is a must; MSc/MBA is a plus
• Professional certifications in project management or business analysis (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, …) is a plus
• More than 5 years of experience in banking and financial sector roles with a minimum of 2 years as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Business Analyst
• Good knowledge background of project/program management techniques and methods
• Working knowledge in Retail Banking’s products and services and their technology
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a plus
• Analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (English is a must)
• Excellent problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
