Job Purpose
This level requires good command and experience in various areas of Operational Risk Management in banking and financial sector. This level requires superior business analysis skills to understand and conceptualize the business requirements and processes to be in line with regulatory requirements, best practices, standards, with founded risk culture/system. The role requires a good experience of management of risks and controls with broad perspective on banking. To facilitate a consolidated reporting of the overall status of operational risk and control profile and provide support to the managers. To provide assistance to the superior levels within the department and junior level to perform the assigned activities.
Accountabilities
- New Product & Service Management (NPS): Independently Management of NPS process on behalf of Risk Management Group
- New Product & Service Review (NPS): Timely Review and Provision of feedback on risk assessment of all NPS from Operational Risk Perspective
- Policies and Procedures Review: Comprehensive review and assessment of Banking Policies & Procedures, and to provide timely feedback.
- Analytical Assessments: Strong Analytical Review of processes shared.
- Review the product information provided, assess and arrange for the NPS Working Group meeting accordingly.
- Based on the nature of the product, its complexity and related risk exposure, invite members and guests (invitees).
- Acting as a primary point of contact and source of information and advice for Committee members regarding the review.
- Circulating Committee decisions to the concerned parties.
- Regular Awareness creation and guidance via broadcast messages to enhance the culture
- Fulfilling the responsibility of the NPSC Secretary as per the NPSC Charter.
- Notify Internal Audit Management on the launch date of the product, based on the intimation received from the Product Owner (Business Line)
المهارات
- A. Degree in a practical field preferred in Finance, Commerce, Economics and Accounting with 5 years of banking experience
- Knowledge of Banking Processes
- Sound Knowledge of Banking Products and Services
- Strong Analytical Ability.
- Command over English language and good communication.
- Ability to work independently with minimum of supervision
