- Jobs at this level perform routine operational support duties requiring relevant and basic skills. These roles also involve initial analysis and problem solving.
- Monitor the production environment and core banking applications in order to ensure optimal systems availability
- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc system jobs, batch processing; backup/restore – as per operational and user requirements and ensure correct and timely availability of business information.
- Undertake basic network monitoring and administration tasks for round-the-clock availability of network services.
- Actively maintain a current level of knowledge of the relevant BSF technical environment through both formal training and self-development (reading; asking questions; seeking information) in order to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved.
المهارات
- Bachelor degree or 2 years Diploma
- Two years hands-on and practical IT work experience of computer operations – preferably in a banking or similar environment
- Basic technical knowledge and good operational knowledge of the operating systems, especially UNIX, Windows as well as databases – Oracle, etc.
- Conceptual and basic knowledge of network & communication, network management, lines and network hardware and devices
