2369-JC1405-Senior Officer Compliance Review

This role is responsible to deputize Compliance Review Manager and support the monitoring process mandated. S/he will be responsible for all departmental MIS, plan, lead and conduct compliance reviews in line with the risk-based annual plan and recommend gaps identified through testing and monitoring process for appropriate implementation of regulatory rules and monitors compliance activities under the supervision of “Compliance Review Manager

• Assists to develop a risk-based Annual Compliance Review Plan in
• consultation with the Manager for ‘qualitative’ and ‘quantitative’ reviews and validation of all compliance procedures and activities
• Conducts random and regular visits and interviews with Business Lines, Support and Control Functions to ensure regulations are implemented with proper controls in place
• Ongoing update to the Regulations and related Compliance Risk Register
• Monitors and assesses corrective action plans in order to ensure that
• actions taken by Business Lines and Support Functions on compliance observations and findings are in line with the reported findings
• Maintains records of evidences for all conducted reviews, interviews, assessments and findings, and provides reports to Manager
• Works with business lines under the supervision of Compliance Review Manager, support and control functions maintains a good reputation, establishes and develops effective working relationships that has monitoring responsibility

• Supports the Manager and trains/leads Review Officer(s) in any ad-hoc projects to promote the compliance culture within the BSF, during inspection visits (internal and external) to the bank or to fulfil any compliance reporting requirement from the senior management

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Business
• 3-6 years banking experience
• 1-2 years within Compliance, Audit or Risk areas of the bank
• Good understanding of banking products and services
• Good analytical and investigative skills
• Seasoned experience of writing policies and departmental documents in compliance with regulations
• Good analytical skills to interpret the regulations/banking laws of the Kingdom
• Good understanding of all the compliance fields
• Good Understanding of Compliance Risk Management
• Sound experience of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure
• Excellent computer, Microsoft skills
• Sound experience of leading teams
• Good Project management skills
