Regional Operations Support Manager-Riyadh

Job Description

Level Details:

The role holder heads the operations support department within the region and is accountable for effective, efficient and compliant operations. He/She also acts as compliance coordinator and ensures that all internal and external operational policy, procedures, guidelines are properly understood and complied. The role holder further coordinates with Internal and External parties to regularize all operational finding and/or implements any new measures.

Job Purpose:

The role holder is responsible to ensure that operational, compliance, SAMA & CMA policies & procedures are properly implemented and fully complied. He/She is also responsible to provide necessary training on operational matters to group’s resources, increase the better understanding on various operational systems and ensure best services delivered to clients.

Accountabilities:

1. Review of legal documents, Handle NRA, validation, legal file/SV Cards for safekeeping/scanning.

2. Control other activities such as inactive/ dormant/ unclaimed account, ID Update, periodic maintenance…etc.

3. Supervise activities related to Fixed Deposit/Murabaha (i.e. initial placement, rollover) and its related documentation

4. Control Fax/Phone Transaction and ensure that all fax/phone transactions are processed in accordance to the procedure.

5. Supervise activities of Cards & Pins System, Cheque Books System and BW Net (for Instant Card/Pin Issuance) including full compliance to the procedure.

6. Coordinate with Assistants and ROs on regularization of Exceptional transaction, inactive/dormant account, delivery of cards, pins cheque books internal/external, obtaining clients signatures on Consent, etc and ensure completion and smooth operations.

7. Maintain and ensure that proper procedure is followed on: Clients Authorized Delegates, Clients Consent, Returned Cheques, Returned Transfers, Card Disputes, Customer complaints, diverting clients to alternative delivery channels, Payroll processing, Proper Filling)

8. Periodic spot checking on cash and valuables like (Drafts, Rubber Stamps, Cards, Pins, and Cheque Books) and submit a status monthly report to HO, and coordinate with periodic Audit Mission.

9. Ensure adherence to Compliance, SAMA and CMA rules and regulations as communicated Operations Support Manager. Immediately inform management of potential or real risk that may be damageable to either the client or BSF

10. Communicate with other operation lines to ensure proper control and smooth operations.

11. Supervise, train and guide the operational support staff in order to deliver services effectively.

Skills

• Good knowledge of BSF policies and procedure related to operations.

• Good understanding of SAMA/CMA rules and regulations.

• Good understanding of fraud and risk prevention practices

• Technical writing and communication skills

• MS Office skills

• Numeric skills

• Communications skills

• English literate

Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in a banking environment or operations exposed role in banking or 4-5 years as an Operations Manager in middle/large size branch)

• High exposure/experience in banking operations, customer services, back office.
