Job Description

Job Purpose:

This role is primarily responsible for providing information, technical support in varied Cash Services areas, coordinates and follows-up for various on-going projects, follows-up from the Regional managers and other business lines for completion of Cash Services requirements. The role holder is expected to interface and interact with Regional Managers, vendors, SAMA officers and other business lines and assist them by analysing, reporting and interpreting relevant information in accordance with the defined guidelines of policies and procedures. This role assists for accomplishment of plans and objectives for the business.

Job Description:

- Coordinates with Regional managers, ATM Operations supervisors and provides required administrative support with a view to increasing the availability of ATMs, CAMs and attending Branches demands.

- Undertakes analysis of user requirements received from regions, teams and reports on findings and recommendations aimed at ensuring improved business support.

- Meets with Information Technology, Global Transaction, Retail Banking managers in order to draw and implement smart tools to monitor and control Cash Services transactions and explores on the possibilities of automation wherever possible.

- Tracks and analyzes business trends and critical issues, makes appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the business. Also, it provides support to a number of key projects for the business.

- Participates with the teams and Information Technology, supervises in the development of apt reporting tools to assess business volumes, comparisons and profitability.

- Takes necessary actions, guides the teams and users in case of system disruptions.

- Periodic spot checks on all cash areas and ATMs, CAMs assuring Cash levels, inventory, back-ups and liabilities are per records and consistent with assigned responsibility, with no shortage, excess in cash levels in alignment of direct manager’s instructions and approvals where applicable as per the policies and procedures.

- Interacts with venders, CIT (Cash-in-transit) companies, SAMA, Compliance and other concerned functional areas and follows-up for smooth implantation of regulations, completions of projects and necessary enhancements in the systems, appropriate reporting tools, implements automation wherever possible to achieve efficiency and to mitigate the risk.

- Coordinates with concerned Cash Services functional areas in order to draw and implement smart tools to monitor and control Cash Services transactions and explores on the possibilities of automation wherever possible.

- Coordinates CIT (Cash-in-transit) companies and ensures cash operations are managed in the most cost effective and secure way in line with BSF policies, SAMA and Ministry of Interior rules and regulations.

- Participates with the Head of Cash and ATM Services in preparing the annual operating plans and budgets for the region so that the Cash Services is aware of anticipated revenues and costs.

- Undertakes complex and non-routine administrative activities, correction requests, conducting additional research where necessary, to support ongoing business activities and provides high quality service to internal and external customers.

- Reminds and follows up with the Cash Center Officers, ATM Operations Supervisors to ensure operations are carried out in compliance with Cash Services procedures (Daily balancing of the cash, Cash Center access, functionality of CCTVs and security equipment and etc.).

- Coordinates with External and Internal Auditors for providing the relevant documents and take necessary steps to close audit recommendations.

- Implements any special assignment or project given by the Head of Cash and ATM Services.
