This position is for a fully qualified auditor who participates in audits but without any supervisory or staffing responsibility. He conducts specific audit assignments under the supervision of the IT Audit Team Leader.
Jobs at this level work more independently in carrying out assigned audits or small audit projects including following up on previous recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Perform audit procedures in accordance with the approved Audit Program, as assigned by the Team Leader.
Evaluate and finalise responses to audit recommendations as directed by Team Leader.
Train assigned Internal Auditors.
Formulate recommendations, with authority to follow up on their implementation.
Work within well defined audit procedures.
Update audit programs under the guidance of Team Leader.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or equivalent.
Holding CISA, CISSP or CISM qualification.
3 years experience in IS Audit and Risk-based Controls of banking information systems development and operations, of which at least two years as 'Senior Internal Auditor'.
Technical knowledge and application of information system security, network management, web technologies and Internet-based delivery systems.
Currently performing a risk-focused audit function at a reputable banking institution.
Exposure to risk assessment and controls.
Familiar with COBIT, BS7799 and audit tools.
Technical and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal ability.
Strong report writing skills.
