As Caam Saudi Fransi, our offering in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is made of a comprehensive range of 18 mutual funds both conventional and Shariah compliant. We also have discretionary portfolio management (DPM) services to offer our clients customized investment solutions. We cover a wide range of asset classes and will continue launching new funds to bring the latest innovations to Saudi investors.

Position:
  • We are looking for a person, based in Riyadh, to develop the BSF retail client base.
  • Reports to the relevant Region Head, Retail Banking Division Investment Sales and Advisory
  • Interface between CaamSF and Retail Banking clients in order to support a systematic identification, exploitation or creation of demand for financial services within BSF's existing or potential customer base, and to sell investment solutions and products which Caam offers.
  • Contributes to develop a client-centered and sales-focused financial culture among Retail Relationship Officers, complementing and enhancing the services currently offered to customers.

The officers in these specific roles will have dedicated coverage on retail banking relationships.

Core Functions & Responsibilities: Sales and Advisory of Investment Products and Services

1.  Interfaces with Retail Banking Group, to :

  • Communicate to clients the Bank's ability to proactively respond to their Investment needs by providing competitive investment solutions and products.
  • Advise clients and relationship officers on defining investment objectives, Risk tolerance, time horizon and liquidity needs with the aim of creating efficiently managed portfolios.
  • Educate clients and relationship officers on the attributes of major asset classes, Mutual Funds, alternative investments, and portfolio construction   the aim is to show to the clients how each of the products can play a role in the achievement of defined investment objectives on a stand alone basis as well as within the context of a portfolio.

2.  Promotes and sells the CaamSF's full range of investment products and services within assigned area of coverage, in particular :

  • prepares, assists and conducts marketing initiatives, developing a systematic distribution of investment products and solutions;
  • arranges, supports and participates in joint calls, pitches and presentations / proposals to prospects and existing clients with investment potential;
  • assists and advises ROs in the inventorisation of clients' and prospects' product preference.

3. Follows-up with clients and ROs for service and product feedback, targeting additional business from repeats and referrals.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales within the Saudi market (preferably with sales experience in retail banking)
  • Finished at least a 4 year college degree.
  • Proficient in both Arabic and English language.
  • Motivated, Sociable and enthusiastic character.
  • Good knowledge of different asset classes, such as Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments and tailor made financial solutions, as well as less sophisticated retail investment products.
