The French Connection

BSF has long been a major and well-respected force in the country. Although established in its current form as Banque Saudi Fransi in 1977, as the name suggests we have a strong French connection, with CA-CIB owning a substantial minority of the Bank. CA-CIB is the corporate and investment banking subsidiary of Credit Agricole, one of the ten largest global banks, and through this parentage we can trace our presence in Saudi Arabia back to 1948, which makes us by far one of the oldest banks in the Kingdom.
