Application Support

Position Summary :

Application support is responsible to provide a regular application support for the application installed into Windows platform such .Net , Tomcat , JBoss Java & Web services & to facilitates the project tasks coordination within the Division teams. A high attention to detail, strong organization skills and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities is critical to the success of this role.

Scope of Responsibilities :

• Application administration & Support

• Application Deployment

• Application upgrade / reinstallation

• Application Patching & Fixes & new release

• Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to help minimize downtime

• Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment

• Application Configuration & Optimization

• Application performance & tuning

• Application & System Monitoring

• Application daily maintenance & Debug activity

• Application 2nd & 3rd client / servers Support

• Develops and manages effective working relationships with other departments and users

• Assist the Project Manager in the drafting and issuance of project related requests within the Division.

• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information & requirements to the Division teams.

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in computer science / Computer Engineering.

• 2-4 Years of experience, in banking sector or similar.

• Experience in supporting Windows platform applications such .Net , Tomcat , JBoss Java & Web services in addition to the experience in supporting Projects & Project Managers

• Proficient with project plans, understanding of project life-cycle and spreadsheet creation & report creation

• Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills

• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

Degree in Computer Science or related field.
